Naomi Tsvirko is an award-winning writer and multimedia journalist based in the United States. Originally from Australia, she has built an international career spanning journalism, education, and digital media.

She began her career in community radio, becoming a finalist in the SBS Australia Youth Radio Feature Competition, before moving into freelance journalism and later joining the Daily Mail newsroom in Sydney. Naomi then spent three years in Switzerland, writing lifestyle features for The Local, Europe’s largest English-language news network, while also teaching at an international school.

Today, Naomi contributes to Success Magazine, The List and other major outlets while continuing to build a portfolio of creative and editorial work. She has also been commissioned to deliver writing workshops and talks, appeared as a regular social commentator on SBS Radio, and served as a panelist at an Australian State Government Multicultural Media Forum.

Naomi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Writing and Cultural Studies) and a Bachelor of Teaching, from the University of Technology, Sydney.

In addition to her writing and journalism work, Naomi has a passion for stand-up comedy and performs regularly at prominent New York City comedy clubs. She is also the author of a young adult novel and is currently completing her second manuscript.
